ZBAM! tells the story of a theater community who decided to build a commune on the stage with the audience.

However, it is not easy to find common ground. Do we really want our dreams to come true? And why is it so hard to leave the past behind? The play, built with non-fictional lived experiences of different people and communities, all the way to the smallest line to the lyrics, touches on issues around the way to live together, how to stand together with our differences, with a dark humor.
We witness the stories of people who manage to keep the struggle going and who still believe in a more beautiful world. And now, six actresses from Berlin, dare to take this touching play into their own hands and add to it their own stories. Written by acclaimed playwright Şirvan Akan from Istanbul and directed by Selin İşcan, the dark comedy “ZBAM!” was staged in Berlin at tak Theater Aufbau Kreuzber during in 2020 and 2023.
